Analytics & Measurement
It always amazes us how many websites don’t use website analytics to track how many vistiors visit their site. If you have a website then it would make sense that you want to make the most of it, generating new business or converting potential customers if possible. If you aren’t tracking, at the very minimum, how many visitors go to your website then you are left in the dark in regards to how your website is performing and where you can make improvements.
What does Analytics provide?
Analytics provides you with a way to track how many people visited your website, what country they were from, what state, what city, how long they spent on your website, how many pages were viewed, what term they typed to get there, and who sent them. Those are just a few of the metrics that analytics will tell you about your website traffic. You can then turn and use these metrics to improve pages on your website and optimize content for heavily visited pages.
Analytics are important and every website should have them.
